I found a fabulous shop on etsy that I had to blog about. Julie, from Diamonds and Sprinkles, creates the most amazing laser-cut jewelry using acrylic material. Her work is very precise and intricate - simply beautiful. Her process is equally impressive. She says, "I start out with and idea for a ring, necklace, or earrings and then I design them on the computer. This takes the most time, I then have it cut on my laser. I love to see how my jewelry turns out after they've been cut out on the laser. It always amazes me how detailed and precise the laser can cut. After they have been cut out with the laser I finish up with what ever they need. I love getting custom orders, I think it is fun to help people get exactly what they want. My shop is fun and different, and a lot of fun."
The first thing from her shop that caught my eye was this amazing Daisy Pink Flower Ring. She designed this petaled flower ring out of pink acrylic mirror glass with a gem in the center. Of course, I had to have one!
Here are some more of my favorites from her shop:
Pump Earrings, made from black acrylic and sterling silver parts. A must-have for the Shoe Diva!
Another fun ring, The Mirror Purse Ring, is made out of mirror acrylic. Wouldn't this be fun to wear when you're shopping?
Necklace Monogram, made out of shards acrylic glass. Of course, she can make any letter you want.
Of course these are just a few of my favorites, but you must, must, must check out her etsy shop and see them all!
Julie is a stay at home mom who keeps very busy with 4 children. She says, "I am enjoying my Etsy shop because it is e working with real people who are just like me. I Also love the fact I am meeting people from all over the world but yet we are still the same."
