Hummingbird Clearwing Moth Pendant

I had a request from a gal for a fused glass Hummingbird Clearwater Moth pendant. After seeing a picture of the actual moth and coming up with an abstract version of it, and using her input on the color of glass, I created one and was almost ready to send it off. I had the pendant finished and sitting on top of an opened magazine page when I saw the words from the page showing through the clear wings. I thought it looked amazing and I contacted the gal who requested it and asked her what she thought. She liked the idea and gave me some random positive words that she associates with clearwings like: "love, flight, serene, peace, joy, wind, sweet, soft, happy, and color". I incorporated these words behind the wings of the pendant and the result is stunning!
