My first attempt at Screen Printing

I was browsing through some of my favorite crafty blogs, when I cam across Ashley Leigh's blog where she had a posting on cheap screen printing, where I was then directed to craftgrrl and her tutorial on cheap screen printing. Got that?!?!? I had to give this a try as I LOVE to wear t-shirts and have recently been obsessed with the screen printing-type shirts. Well, of course my choice of printing would be my beloved Audrey Hepburn and here's my end result:

OK...this is my first attempt, and although its definately not perfect, its still wearable and now I will just have to try out some more! This was definately fun and you should give it a go if you've always wanted to try out screen printing, but was afraid of the cost. This version of cheap screen printing cost me about $15.00 (including the shirt!). Now I have the materials, and all I need to do is buy another shirt (JoAnn's, Etc. is having a great sale on their summer T's, vintage style, my FAV!) and I'm good to go! Make sure to check out craftgrrl's tutorial to get all the directions! Have fun!

Wow that turned out great! Just what I need is another obsession... As much as I have visited your blog I never realized you are in Columbus...that is where I grew up.

Looks awesome! I'm glad you found my link useful :) My friend wants me to do a custom shirt for her, so I guess I'll be trying it out too!
