My first attempt at Screen Printing

I was browsing through some of my favorite crafty blogs, when I cam across Ashley Leigh's blog where she had a posting on cheap screen printing, where I was then directed to craftgrrl and her tutorial on cheap screen printing. Got that?!?!? I had to give this a try as I LOVE to wear t-shirts and have recently been obsessed with the screen printing-type shirts. Well, of course my choice of printing would be my beloved Audrey Hepburn and here's my end result:



OK...this is my first attempt, and although its definately not perfect, its still wearable and now I will just have to try out some more! This was definately fun and you should give it a go if you've always wanted to try out screen printing, but was afraid of the cost. This version of cheap screen printing cost me about $15.00 (including the shirt!). Now I have the materials, and all I need to do is buy another shirt (JoAnn's, Etc. is having a great sale on their summer T's, vintage style, my FAV!) and I'm good to go!
