Long Awaited Guitar Finally Created!
One of my best friends, Diana, requested this custom made guitar for her son, Joe. He is a Corporal in the U.S. Marines. He was stationed in Iraq, and after serving 10 months there, he is now finally home on leave. I have been so excited to make this for him as this idea has been in the works since last year. He owns and plays a red Ibanez electric guitar and I tried to "perfect" this type of guitar to the best of my ability with my fused glass. I am so pleased with the outcome and can't wait for her son to see it! Diana goes to all my art shows and sits with me to keep me company - this gift for her son was the very least I could do for all the time she has been there for me and gives me continuous support with my endeavors in the art world. I'm so glad her son is now home and she gets to spend some quality time with him. And many thanks to Cpl. Joe for being a true hero by serving our Country.

My husband is a guitar player, too. Your piece is INCREDIBLE! It looks just like an Ibanez. I am awed!
